FOUNDER
The Rising Circus Entertainment was founded in 2017 by Victoria native Sarah Scheunhage, an accomplished aerialist, acrobat, choreographer, and director with over 25 years of experience in the circus arts. Her work blends technical excellence with poetry- creating performances that resonate far beyond the stage.
Her career has taken her across Canada, the United States, and internationally, for world-renowned companies such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and SeaWorld San Antonio, to 5-star resorts like the Adam & Eve Resort in Turkey, and The Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. She has performed at global showcases including the 2010 Winter Olympics with The Underground Circus and the Dalian International Fashion Festival in China.
Sarah’s creative reach extends into film and television, with appearances in Reefer Madness, Disney’s Under Wraps 2, and national commercials for brands like Clover Leaf and Disco Cirque.
With each event, Sarah ensures her company brings a refined artistic vision and professional polish — every Rising Circus performance is not just a show, but a lasting experience where the impossible becomes beautifully real.
